While most species of ants are fairly passive with humans, the fire ant is invasive and predatory. It’s not uncommon for a human or animal to be attacked by hundreds of fire ants in a matter of moments if they happen to passively wander across a colony.
The venom of the fire ant is extremely painful, causing painful irritation, swelling, and severe itching around the bite that persists for several days.

Two Effective Solutions for Fire Ant Control
We have developed two very effective solutions for exterminating fire ants from your home and property.
1) Short-Term Relief offers quick and immediate relief using a process called “rodding” that destroys the fire ants that are currently infesting your home or yard. However it is not a long term solution to fire ant control.
2) Long-Term Relief eliminates fire ants from your home and property for the long term using a process called “granulating.” This method is also ideal for prevention of fire ant infestation. Long term relief is the more effective solution and our preferred method of fire ant control.

First, we conduct a complete a detailed inspection to find fire ant mounds. We also search out other potential fire ant hide outs by inspecting hidden areas where fire ants generally congregate such as around electrical lines.

Finally, we treat the fire ants either through rodding (short term relief), granulating (long term relief and preventative solution), or by using a combination of the two.
